Answer :  All of our wood shelves are solid pine. Our uprights are solid hemlock which matches the pine. Our uprights are made out of hemlock because they are Knot-free. Our pine shelves will have sanded smooth knots which is typical of pine. They come with a clear lacquer finish or now you also have the option of unfinished.

 Answer :  Unlike any other closet system you will find, our modular wood system was initially made for industrial and commercial installations. Our Lundia shelving line is used nationwide in literally thousands of retail stores for stockroom storage and displays. You will find our system being used for commercial purposes in Pier One Imports, Ann Taylor, Sketchers, May Company Stores, Macys, JC Penny and many many more. Our closet system uses the same exact uprights and shelves as our commercial systems. In fact during the famous "Northridge Earthquake" in Los Angeles most of the Broadway department store collapsed. The only shelves that stood up to the quake were our Lundia shelves. We had over 300 sections of Lundia shelving and not one section failed.
